The Durie plaid brooch has been approved by the Chief of the Durie Family and the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs. As such, it may be worn by any lady wishing to show a connection to the Durie family, when wearing highland dress.
The brooch is modelled by one of Scotlands finest sculptors, and cast at a Pewter manufacturing unit in Glasgow using the most modern centrifugal casting technique. The process uses only 100% Pewter with no lead content. Each casting bears the Durie crest and is finished with a unique celtic knot design in the finest detail. The brooch is hand polished and hand antiqued.
There are 5 stone Colours available (see illustration). The brooches are supplied in a high quality presenation box and make the ideal gift.
